The current membership is compromised of approximately 50 members.

:Third Assistant Chief Richard Layton Elected!

Third Assistant Chief, Richard Layton, was elected with 151 votes in the Freeport Fire Department elections, on Thursday, April 4, 2006.
On Saturday, April 22nd, Chief Layton was sworn in at the Departments Installation.

Memorial Day 2006!

The Freeport Fire Department will be participating in the 2006 Memorial Day Parade and inspection, on Monday, May 29, 2006.
Come down and support the members of Hose Company 1, its Officers, Members and aparatus!
