History of EverReady Hose Company 1!
Hose Company 1 was founded originally, in 1894, and celebrates in 2006, its one-hundred thirteen years of service to the residents of Freport, New York.
Its original house, stood slightly West of the current fire house located at 22 Southside avenue.
Future updates to this page will show pictures of the original and current fire houses.
In its one-hundred thirteen years of service, Hose 1 has turned out many Chiefs of the Freeport Fire Department.
